Interview With Weng Chun Kung Fu Master Sifu Michael Tang

Michael Tang lives in Hong Kong. He is an engineer and has shaped the architecture within his city decisively.

To make all the difference "The Interview" shows Mr. Tang as a keeper of a lineage of Kung Fu: Tang Yik Weng Chun. The characteristic feature of that peculiar Kung Fu style is the fight with the long pole - the luk dim bun gwan. The Interview is an authentic document of the road Weng Chun walks today. The fascination for this martial art is unbroken. This documental "user generated" film answers a lot of questions, not only about the traditional Weng Chun of the Tang Family. Myths of origination or marketing strategies, effectivness and self-defence are subjects as well. "The Interview" shows Michael Tang in a trialogue with Maria-Magdalena Pela and Janet Yuen, sequences of training and instruction and photos of Michael and his grand uncle Tang Yik.
